Winter 'is the best time' to invest in central London property

Anyone who is considering making an investment in the property
market should buy in central London before the end of the winter if
they want a good deal, an industry expert has advised.
Naomi Heaton, chief executive officer at London Central Portfolio,
commented that savvy investors should aim to enter the market over
the next three months.
"If people are thinking about it, they really ought to get in now
and also over the winter, when there is always a slight drop in
prices due to seasonality," she explained.
Property prices in the capital increased for the sixth consecutive
month in October, reaching an average of £317,601, according
to Land Registry figures. However, they are still down by 0.2 per
cent year-on-year.
Ms Heaton added that the London market, particularly the
residential sector, always performs well and that investors
understand its potential as a long-term investment that will
generate a yield.
