Norfolk Estate Agents uniting to help Ukrainian refugees

Local Estate Agents are rallying together to help the people of Ukraine by collecting essential items. Designated donation points have been set up in branches across the county to bring vital supplies to those in need as quickly as possible.

Whittley Parish are working with fellow Estate Agents to provide essential items to Ukrainian civilians and families who have fled their homes for safety.

Any items collected will go The Wonder Foundation, a Uk charity working on the ground in Eastern Europe.

Initiating efforts, Richard Cheal, Sowerbys Estate Agents Land and New Homes Manager, said: “We all just felt that we wanted to do something above and beyond donating funds.
“In order to make an impact quickly, it dawned on us to take the unusual step of working together with other independent agents in Norfolk. “The Wonder Foundation are witnessing refugees crossing borders from Ukraine first-hand and are able to tell us exactly what items are needed.”

Donations can be made at each of the branches listed below between now and April 3rd.

Sowerbys, Brittons, Winkworth, Longsons, Hammond and Stratford, KT Estate Agents, Millbanks, Big Skies Estates, Millsopps, Iconic Estate Agents, Minors and Brady, Auction House, Money Properties, Money Properties, Humberts, Jackson-Stops and Whittley Parish.

Collections will then be transported to Sussex where HSM Global haulage firm, which is partnered with The Wonder Foundation, will transfer collections to front-line workers in Eastern Europe.
