Alex Parish - FNAEA & MARLA


Managing Director


Alex studied property agency and surveying at the Royal Agricultural University and has spent his entire career in property. Prior to joining the company, Alex worked in central London with Foxtons and Faron Sutaria before returning to Norfolk in 2013. His experience and expertise is taking the family-run business into future growth and continued success. Never one day or one client is the same and, like the rest of his colleagues, Alex finds it hugely rewarding to be able to give honest and transparent advice to help people on their moving journey. Alex is a devoted husband and very proud father of two, and is a keen marathon runner, when he has the spare time!

Rachel Syder - MNAEA


Operations Director


Rachel oversees the smooth running of the Diss, Attleborough and Long Stratton offices and has been with Whittley Parish since 2015. She has lived in Norfolk all her life and has an unrivalled knowledge of the county. She is a well-known member of the local community and her passion and love of the property industry is an inspiration to the entire Whittley Parish team. Rachel has seen many ups and downs during her time working in the property sector: having experienced the crash in 1989, she returned to the industry in 2008 and now ensures all customers have a smooth and uncomplicated journey buying and selling their homes. She’s a Norwich City football supporter and enjoys spending time with her family and Sproodle puppy.

Matthew Hunt - MARLA


Lettings Director


Matt oversees the busy lettings department and holds a MARLA Level 3 Award in Residential Letting and Property Management. He gained his experience in lettings from managing properties in Canary Wharf and Bury St Edmunds. After a career break and six months’ travelling around Europe with his wife, Matt returned to Norfolk, and his childhood hometown of Diss, to bring up his young family. He enjoys not knowing what the day will bring and helping customers overcome issues that arise. Outside office hours, Matt is a keen jogger and has clocked up 500km so far this year.

Sophie Parish 


HR & Marketing Director


Sophie joined her husband Alex, in the family business in January 2025. Having worked previously in HR and recruitment, Sophie has brought her skills to Whittley Parish with her main goal being to look after our amazing team. Sophie and Alex have two children, Poppy and Milo, who keep them very busy! When Sophie isn't working or being a mum, her other passion is Pilates which she teaches in her local village hall at the weekends.

Liam Osborne - MNAEA


Long Stratton Branch Manager


Liam started his working life as a swimming teacher and lifeguard, after achieving many swimming successes during his teenage years, winning multiple Norfolk championships in individual and team events. In 2015 he became a learning support assistant in a local primary school, but his interest in the property industry led him to change career back in July 2018, when he joined Whittley Parish as an apprentice.  Growing up in South Norfolk has provided Liam with an excellent understanding of the local area and this along with his knowledge of the property market enables him to give sound advice in his role as Branch Manager and Valuer. He prides himself on realising the very best possible price for his clients by implementing the most appropriate marketing campaign.  In his spare time Liam follows cricket and football and never misses an F1 race during the season.

Jordan Fletcher


Diss Branch Manager


Jordan has been working within Estate Agency since 2012 and is truly passionate about the job. Building personal relationships is something he prides himself on and by truly understanding the needs of his clients ensures he delivers the best possible advice throughout their moving journey. A passionate West Ham supporter he tries to attend as many games as possible and a little known fact about Jordan is that, as a child, he won the prestigious award of “school disco champion”!

Nick Keeling


Attleborough Branch Manager

Nick joined the Attleborough branch as a Valuer/Lister and his experience and knowledge of valuing property has helped him become an expert within his field. Nick takes real pride in presenting each property at its best ensuring he maximises the potential for a successful sale. In his spare time Nick is an ardent football supporter and enjoys long walks with his black Labrador puppy, Nancy.

Jake Brenchley


Valuations Manager


Jake has been working in the property industry for over 10 years in a multitude of different roles including valuer, sales progressor, negotiator and a branch manager for corporate companies. He joined Whittley Parish in March 2026 and is already making his mark as a valued member of our busy Diss Sales team. Jake takes pride in giving all his clients honest and transparent advice throughout the buying and selling Journey . In his free time, Jake enjoys spending time with his wife, Libby and dog Nahla, going on long walks along the beach or in the forest. He also enjoys watching basketball and football as well as playing golf (badly!).

Sales Progressor


Lizzy joined us in January 2026 as a Sales Progressor. Having been in the industry for a few years and now solely working on Sales Progression, Lizzy has developed a passion for this area and loves to get sales across the line for her clients! Previous to working in Estate Agency, Lizzy had a career with horses for 5 years and as a result enabled her to gain her HGV License in order to compete up and down the country!

Jade Remblance


Assistant Manager, Diss


Jade is never happier than when she is speaking with buyers and sellers to help facilitate their home move. She loves meeting people and delivering a professional service to both vendors and purchasers is very important to her. Jade plays a key role within the sales team she brings energy to the office with her enthusiasm and positive approach.  During the weekends and evenings, you will find Jade walking her beloved Siberian Husky for miles around the Diss area, keeping both herself and Sasha well exercised.

Senior Sales Negotiator


Louise has worked in estate agency for many years and joined Whittley Parish in 2014. She has lived in Diss since she was born and has an extensive knowledge of the town and the local area. She enjoys meeting new people and talking to them about their dream homes. A favourite part of her role is helping people find their new house they can call their home.

Chloe Appleton - MNAEA


Senior Sales Negotiator

Chloe has worked in the property sector since leaving school and absolutely loves the fact that no house move is the same. Giving honest guidance and advice is of paramount importance to Chloe and she eagerly delivers this time and time again. Slinky the Dachshund keeps Chloe busy in her spare time and she is currently setting up home in Attleborough following a return to Norfolk from Essex – welcome back!

Lene Christensen-Martin


Senior Sales Negotiator


Lene started her career in estate agency on the south coast, but then transferred to work for a commercial energy assessor involved with carbon and energy reduction. She is pleased to be back in estate agency – it’s where her passion really lies. Lene is always delighted to hand over keys to a new homeowner and loves meeting and building relationships with vendors and purchasers alike. At weekends, Lene is never happier than when her extended family are gathered round the table enjoying their traditional Danish cuisine.

Ellie Howsen


Lettings Negotiator


Ellie joined Whittley Parish on an NVQ apprenticeship scheme covering residential property lettings and management which she passed with flying colours. Ellie has proven to be a vital member of the department efficiently handling the large volumes of enquiries coming through on a daily basis and she works hard to build positive working relationships with landlords, tenants and contractors. Ellie recently bought her first home and is enjoying renovating the property in her spare time.

Sophie Gower


Lettings Administrator

Sophie has worked in office administration since leaving school and is an integral part of the Lettings team. Her approachable and efficient manner make her an excellent point of contact for both Landlords and Tenants alike. She is currently planning her wedding this year and is a loving cat mum to Mille and Caesar her British Longhair and Shorthair breeds.

Louise McHugh 


Sales Assistant


Louise works brilliantly with our clients and is in and out of the office on numerous daily appointments. She has a genuine and sincere desire to help clients move, which comes across clearly to everyone she meets. Previously, Louise worked for the NHS for over 7 years covering babies to elderly care. She originates from London and moved up to Norfolk early 2024 to enjoy the countryside with her little boy who she is a proud mummy to.

Suzi Chrystal


Accounts Manager


Suzi has been an Accounts Manager with Whittley Parish since 2014. Her previous background in banking and the software industry has transferred perfectly to overseeing the company accounts operation. Suzi is efficient and meticulous and enjoys the variation of rentals. Although the accounts keep her busy, she also enjoys assisting with the range of maintenance issues raised by our tenants. At home, Suzi is a busy mum of four, likes to bake and is learning the guitar.

Clare Lord


Administrator


Clare is an administration expert, having been in administrative roles “for more years than she cares to remember”. She has RSA Level II and III and is an essential part of co-ordinating and organising Whittley Parish’s workload. Clare enjoys meeting new customers and is fascinated by people’s buying and selling stories, as no two experiences are the same. Clare is a member of the Norfolk County carpet bowls team (she’s also the team administrator). She enjoys spending time with her son, who keeps her on her toes!

Jill Howard


Administration


Jill came to Whittley Parish in 2003 after working at Barclays Bank and a food export company. She is now the backbone of the admin department and her meticulous and thorough way of working ensures the smooth running of the office. Every day is different for Jill and she relishes dealing with a wide range of customer enquiries. She particularly loves to get to know a home when she’s typing up the property details. Outside the office, Jill enjoys card-making, and spending time with family and friends. She never forgets a colleague’s birthday, which is a testament to her thoughtful and caring ways.

Martin Clarke


Property Maintenance and Viewing Guide 


After 42 years in the civil service, Martin joined Whittley Parish in 2014 and enjoys every aspect of his job, including meeting new people from all walks of life. He is known for his cheery personality and “can do” attitude. Outside the office, Martin enjoys fishing, holidays abroad and spending time with his grandchildren. A little-known fact about Martin is he is the holder of a Security Industry Association door supervisor licence…but he won’t ask for your ID!

John Daly


Viewing Guide


John’s original ambition was to become a marine biologist, but after five weeks’ working in the icy Irish Sea, he realised that not all marine biologists work in the warmth of the Caribbean! So, after three years of study, he followed his family footsteps into engineering and spent the next 35 years repairing, selling, designing and building heavy trucks. John joined Whittley Parish in 2011 as one of our busy viewing guides. John does his utmost to make viewings as relaxed and enjoyable as possible for both viewer and vendor. It’s always a great moment for him when viewers find their new home and start to plan as they walk around. John is married with three children and he and his family have rehomed more than 30 cats over the years.

Sally McAllister


Viewing Guide 


After gaining a degree in history Sally worked in  various sales roles in telecoms and IT for over 30 years. Having moved house 19 times and renovated 12 houses Sally has finally found her perfect job as a viewing guide. Helping people to find their dream homes and sharing her knowledge of renovations and interior design means it doesn’t feel like work! Sally also works for Norfolk County Council as a celebrant/registrar marrying couples in and around Diss. Sally has a cocker spaniel called Beau and in her spare time she loves to go to go to music gigs, last year she did 32 in total!
