Renting a property with Whittley Parish

Learning how to rent a property may seem complicated. That’s why our how to rent guide is simple and straightforward. First thing to do is contact our lettings team so we can register your details and start your search. If you’re unsure of the location you would like to live in, check out our location guides to give you some idea. Most importantly is to know your budget, so we can refine your search to just the properties for you. We’ll also talk you through the length of tenancy you want and when you want to move. We can then arrange viewings of the properties you have chosen.

Once you have a property in mind, you can then apply for the tenancy. There are several checks that we will need to do, including credit and reference checks as well as address history. Once the tenancy has been agreed with the landlord, the deposit can be paid and a date arranged for you to move in.

Always protected

Your deposit is protected through the Propertymark Protection Scheme and is held in accordance with the Propertymark Client Money Protection Scheme rules. So you can rest assured that your money is safe. To see how your money is protected, click here.

We hold our tenants despoits via the TDS
